Black Shark 2 Pro, backed by Xiaomi, coming to Malaysia on 3rd September

Black Shark, a smartphone maker backed by Xiaomi is in the process of bringing up a new gaming device Black Shark 2. The phone was announced on August 5. The phone will now be coming to Malaysia on Septemeber 3.

The manufacturer has released a teaser indicating the launch in Kuala Lumpur on 3rd September. The announcement eas made through the official Facebook page. The company did not mention the name of the phone, but the looks and the RGB lighting on the screen indicates beyond doubt that it is the back Shark 2 Pro itself.

The Xiaomi-Backed Gaming Smartphone – Black Shark 2 Pro is designed as an updated version of the earlier Black Shark 2. There are no specific details available about the new gaming device, but most of those in the know have been assured of the processor that it will come with. The Black Shark 2 Pro will be released with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. A faster UFS 3.0 storage is yet another added advantage.

With the 6.39 inch screen with AMOLED display and a screen latency of 34.7 ms, you also have access to a 48 MP rear camera. The front camera would read 20 MP. That would make it a camera powerhouse as well. The rear camera also has a secondary camera as well.

As for the battery requirements, you would have a 4000 mAh capacity and a charging option through a faster charging with USB Type C. The phone will offer two variants in terms of storage – a 12 GB RAM / 128 GB internal storage and a 12 GB RAM / 256 GB internal storage. There is no option for an expandable storage though.

The phone has been touted to be launched in Malaysia next week with a possible launch date poised at Septemeber 3. You will have access to an exciting performance in terms of gaming and provides you access to several performance oriented components. The Black Shark 2 Pro backed by Xiaomi will have a cheaper pricing. The 128 GB variant is expected to be available at $ 420 and the higher storage variant will have a slightly higher price tag of $ 490.

The new device will have an excellent feature set at an affordable price tag. Just stay tuned to this place for any updated news and information about the new device. It would be worthwhile to check how does it perform against the upcoming ROG Phone 2 by Asus. The Asus device is expected to arrive by the end of September 2019 and expected to offer a higher price.
