As per the latest data available at the time of publishing this post read 492,056 confirmed cases and 22,175 deaths. Italy has still been reeling under the Coronavirus pandemic with 5249 new cases and 743 new deaths on March 24. This is a considerable spike when compared to the figures of 4789 new cases and 601 new deaths on March 23.

Leaving aside Italy, the other countries most affected are Spain, mainland China, Iran and France. The nations such as Guinea-Bissau, Laos, Mali, Libya, Belize, Grenada and Dominica have declared their first Coronavirus case.
Spain has approached the peak, as the health ministry’s emergencies coordinator Fernando Simon stated. Despite the complete lockdown announced by the government in Spain, the infections and deaths have continued to grow in number. Spain has reached a stage where it has a total of 49115 confirmed cases and 3647 deaths. It should be noticed that the first death in Spain was recorded on March 3, but the count reached a count that has moved ahead of China and Italy.
