The Coronavirus symptoms of the second wave of the pandemic have been something you need to be quite worried about. If you have any of those symptoms, it is high time you can gt yourself tested.

As we have all hitherto known, all the Coronavirus symptoms that have been prevalent so far has been cold, cough, fever, loss of smell and taste. However, with the second wave of Coronavirus hitting most of the regions across the globe, the symptoms of the dreaded disease have also gone through a mutation.

After the spell of lull and an assumption that the COVID-19 has moved away, the second wave has begun hitting the world like never before. However, with the new strain of the pandemic and the new strain thereof, it has been witnessed that there are a few additional symptoms that may manifest themselves even when you may not experience the normal symptoms associated with the Coronavirus.

Having understood that, here are a few Coronavirus symptoms that you may need to take care of.

1. Pink Eye

Pink Eye or conjunctivitis is one of the possible Corona symptoms. A study has been conducted in China and there have been a few symptoms that might have a connection with the COVID-19 infection. You may find a few coronavirus patients having the signs such as watery eyes, redness and swelling in the eye.

2. Gastrointestinal Issues

Reports have suggested that a few gastrointestinal issues have also coming in and a considerable number of them have a link to the Coronavirus contraction. It has been observed that COVID-19 affects the upper respiratory system. Even then, it has been found that Coronavirus infection does affect the digestive system as well. A few of the likely symptoms can include diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, nausea and an acute pain in the abdomen.

3. Hearing issues

This is yet another new symptom that has been associated with the Corona symptoms. In case you have felt a ringing noise in the ear or any other type of hearing impairment, it can be a sign of Coronavirus. A recent study has indicated that the Corona infection can result in auditory malfunctions.

4. Brain fog

The patients who have recently recovered from COVID-19 have reported that they faced frequent neurological problems. Almost 50 per cent of the COVID-19 patients have reported that they experienced the issues such as mental confusion or brain fog. A few other neurological symptoms include memory loss and sleep deprivation.

5. Heart palpitations

Heart palpitations can be yet another issue that can result from the COVID-19 infection. A feeling of a faster heart beat and pounding feeling is what is referred to as Heart palpitation. A feeling of the fluttering heart can also be an indication of the symptom.

In case you are facing any of these new symptoms without any apparent reason, it may be worthwhile to give a serious thought to get yourself tested. Even when you have not other standard symptoms such as cold, fever, body ache or similar other proven symptoms. Staying vigilant is always a better option than feeling sorry later on..
