In a bizarre fit of anger, a McDonalds customer threw coffee – a painfully hot cup of beverage at that – on a McDonalds employee. Th reason? Well, the coffee was not as strong as he was expecting it. It would be perhaps an indication to the growing levels of anger which people don’t know how to control.

Charles Prince, aged 54, had been to a McDonald’s outlet in Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. He had ordered a cup of coffee, and returned to the outlet with the cup of coffee in a while. He was seemingly upset over the quality of coffee, which according to him was not as strong as he had expected it. He claimed it was watery.
In spite of the explanation given by the cashier at the outlet, that the coffee was indeed freshly brewed, the customer kept claiming that his demands be met. In a fit of rage, he knocked the cup off the counter, burning the arm of a female employee in the process. The employee was found to have serious injuries on account of the hot beverage.
Prince was later arrested for assault and produced at the Metro-Davidson County Detention Facility. He was later released on payment of $ 1500 bond. We could not extract any further information from the police.
However, the owner / operator of the McDonalds outlet, Phil gray claimed that “As an owner, making sure I provide a safe and secure restaurant for my customers and employees is a top concern for me. I appreciate how my team handled the incident and we continue to work with the local law enforcement on this matter.”
While the hot coffee issue was not unique and new for the McDonalds outlets, it may be quite important to understand that a right option for anger management is the need of the hour. People perhaps need to learn how to control anger.
