Are you looking to buy a smart speaker and cannot decide which one would be good enough for you? The recent finding can perhaps help you make a decision. A high IQ is the best that a smart speaker can help you with, and Google Assistant is the perfect option for the purpose.
A new small study from Loup Ventures has suggested that Google Assistant is the best option for getting the right answers. While Google Assistant, Siri and Alexa claim to have the same capabilities, you will find that Google Assistant is capable of answering the questions correctly in 90 percent of cases!
The study was conducted in a more simple and easier manner and provided equal options to all the questions. All the three contenders – Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Siri, were posed a total of 800 questions. The performance of the Google Assistant, Siri and Alexa were 100 percent, 99.8 percent, and 99.9 percent, respectively. That was in understanding the questions properly.
However, when answering the questions, Google Assistant succeeded in answering 92.9 percent of questions correctly. The corresponding figures for Siri and Alexa stood at 83.1 and 79.8 percent, respectively.

The report stated that “We separate smartphone-based digital assistants from smart speakers because, while the underlying technology is the same, use cases vary. For instance, the environment in which they are used may call for a different language, and the output may change based on the form factor,”
The platforms used for the purpose of testing included Siri on iOS 12.4, Google Assistant on Pixel XL on Android 9 Pie and Amazon Alexa on an iOS app.
