Valentine’s Day, the most critical day for the lovers, is drawing closer enough. So, now that we have understood what a Promise Day is all about,  let us now move ahead to the next Day – the Hug Day, a great day in Valentine’s week.

While a part of Valentine’s week, the Hug day has its roots in  Lupercalia, a Roman festival in mid-February. The Day, as the name itself, should indicate celebrates the cuddles and embraces. A warm and tight hug shared with someone you love would indeed be rewarding in its own way. One of the simplest and easiest expressions of love, a hug can be extremely affection filled, and a means to spread love throughout.

No matter what status of relationship you share, a hug can induce a tremendous emotional response. Scientifically speaking, it releases Dopamine which is known to improving and enhancing psychological well-being. Science stats that a hug can make you instantly happy! It has also been known to uplift your immune system. If you are depressed and feeling lonely, a hug can bring you back into the jostle of life.
