If you have been with Android for quite some time now and love experimenting with the Android operating system, you would be aware of the LineageOS which is one of the most popular custom ROM for most of the Android devices across multiple manufacturers. The platform has now added support for OnePlus 6T and 7 Pro as per the recent information it provided through the official blog.
that should be yet another added advantage for the users of LineageOS which added support for a wide range of devices over the last month. The two popular devices have now received a support on the official roster wide their own codenams. The OnePlus 6T is code-named fajita and 7 Pro as guacamole. lineageOS developers have stated that th builds will be maintained by LuK1337, PeterCxy, and Tortel.
Both OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7 Pro will be receiving daily builds and the stable builds in a continuous manner. In sharp contrast to the unofficial builds, the LineageOS official builds will be free from bugs of any serious nature. Any bugs if reported would be taken care of in the subsequent builds.
It is quite great to find more and more mainstream phones being added to the official roster on LineageOS. If you are confident enough, you can definitely check out the builds for your phone. The builds are based on Android 9 Pie.
