The filming for the series CBS Star Trek Season 3 began in July 2019. The shooting has started in Toronto, Canada and is expected to end in December 2019. CBS Star Trek has been one of the most popular series options ever that we have witnessed in recent times on CBS.
It was this popularity that made CBS renew the contract for the third season of the series. Season 3 of the Star Trek Discovery on CBS All Access will have 13 or more episodes. The CBS All Access Discovery is renewed with a new showrunner. Yes, you heard it right – Michelle Paradise has been appointed as the co-showrunner along with Alex Kurtzman, as per the statement on Hollywood Reporter.
As Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content at CBS All Access says,
“The massive success of Star Trek: Discovery’s second season launch exceeded our expectations in both driving subscriber growth and generating a phenomenal response from Star Trek fans,”
Perhaps that would mean a possibility of more stories in the CBS All Access Discovery Star Trek franchise and more stories and seasons in the days to come.
Where can I stream Star Trek Discovery Season 3?
Well, the answer should be much obvious enough. Season 1 of the CBS All Access Star Trek was launched in 2017. Season 2 began this year and dropped off at around April 2019. So, when is the new season – Star Trek All Access season 3 on CBS – launching?
Obviously, it takes a hell lot of time to create shows and make them. So, we would not expect CBS All Access Star Trek Season 3 to be available any time before January 2020. So, if you are impatient to watch the Star Trek Discovery Season 3, you will, of course, need to wait a little more.
