We perhaps finally know why Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters called it Quits!

Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters had secretly tied the knot in Malibu right at the start of 2020, but soon enough called it quits. The famous Baywatch actress decided to break up with her new husband within a span of just 12 days!

Jon Peters had dated Pamela 30 years ago, and there are suggestions to indicate that there was a proposal as well, but it perhaps had not worked back then, and the couple had parted ways. They found the “lost love” a few months ago and kind of rekindled their love. And finally got married – this is the fifth marriage for both of them – in Malibu on January 20.

For some reason, the marriage didn’t work, and even before they could file for the marriage certificate, they decided to call off the wedding. A possible Hollywood reunion was cut short abruptly.

There was no reason specified, but we seem to know what happened. Peters had always been a little apprehensive of the career moves that Pamela made, even when they were just friends. He was the one who attempted to talk her out of doing the Playboy cover that actually catapulted her career a few decades ago. She has been someone who has been active in public life and has a lot of credits for her glory. That could have been one of the possible reasons.

She has many accolades to her name, prominent among them being a charity of her own – Pamela Anderson Foundation, which handles the protection of humans, animals, and the environment. She has produced quite a good number of TV shows, has thousands of playboy covers to her credit, and there are over 50 IMDB credits.

The fact that Jon Peters has been talking about her career aspects could be one of the prime reasons for calling off the marriage.

Yet another reason that might have caused the rift could have something to do with the allegations that Jon Peters has been facing. The producer with 52 credits to his name has had faced a host of sexual assault and harassment allegations. One of the high profile cases involved the one filed by Colleen Bennett in 1999. He was accused of “trying to kiss Plaintiff, grabbing her body against her will, conducting meetings in his underwear and exposing his genitals to plaintiff.”

Given the fact that Pamela herself has been a victim of domestic violence, the allegations against Peters may have been something she was apprehensive about. However, Anderson has not talked about these allegations, though. Moreover, there has been evidence that Jon Peters is not quite into intense romantic relationships.

Yet another possibility s that Jon Peters has usually been into younger women. A report a couple of years ago suggested that he had admitted to his liking for women several decades younger to him – a few of them as young as his granddaughters. Pamela was definitely not his usual type. When they married, she was 52 and he 74. Do note that we are only making a speculation and there has NOT been any sort of confirmation from either of them.
